People of the Group

Introducing Our Group

The intention of this page is to give our members an understanding of the people in the MRPMG.

The page is available for anyone to give an introduction of themselves, a 'Bio'.  It can be as detailed as you feel comfortable in sharing.

Hopefully, our Admins, Moderators and Contributors will provide a little insight!

I have been a keen creative for as long as I can recall. In retirement I am using my time to update and learn new things. This group gives me the opportunity to learn from others and share my old and new experiences. Being a part of this community is very important to me.

Experience & Skills

In 1976, after a degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering I started as a control systems engineer using the new microprocessors of the time F8, 8080, 6800, Z8. For 16 years I built and implemented systems in a variety of industries around the world. Ending up in a huge project implementing 200 safety critical systems in nuclear reprocessing. The lessons of quality and reliability learned there took me into financial systems to introduce changes in their methods. After 20 years, I took a leadership role in a medium sized charity where I introduced significant technology changes that drove successful outcomes.
